Application eligibility:

• Applicant must be an incoming freshman (for both our High School and College awards) or a first year medical student.

• Applicant must have a minimum of 25% Italian heritage

• Applicant must have a minimum GPA of 3.5

 
Applicants must provide:

• The parent and/or applicant’s most recent Federal Tax Return documents (2020 tax year)

• The applicant’s Student Aid Report (SAR) from the 2022-2023 FAFSA application (if applying for our College or Medical School Scholarships)

• Three (3) letters of recommendation from professional and/or academic contacts

• The applicant’s most recent, or current, semester’s report card or transcript

Answers to four (4) essay questions, previewed below:

• Please describe your Italian heritage. Where in Italy is your family from? What do you know about your family’s immigration to the United States? If you are not of 100% Italian descent, please describe how your Italian traditions and your additional ethnic backgrounds complement each other.

• Name a noteworthy historical or currently relevant Italian American, their accomplishments, and why this individual has your respect and/or admiration

• Please provide an explanation that helps us understand what a scholarship from CCF would mean to you and your future.

• List and describe all extracurricular, school, and community activities. Include length of service, offices held, etc. Describe your hobbies and any awards, certificates, or medals you have received.
